What's Up?

It's been a while since I've written, but here's what's up.

Work has been keeping us BUSY! It's been super stressful, but we keep plugging away. Dave and I have not been feeling great as of late. It turns out that Dave has an ulcer. It's not too big or anything, but it's there nonetheless. I have been in to see the doctor as well and I found out that I have some ovarian cysts. Again, nothing too serious, but they're there.

I had my 2nd pedicure and went for some bling this time. (Hee hee. ) We got one more "minor" snowfall last week. It didn't stick long, but I sure am ready to be going into summer/warmer weather. Dave and I are planning a couple of summer vacations. We are planning on going at the end of June and I'm super excited to get away for a while.

We spent another fun-filled weekend cleaning. The house looks good. The plan tomorrow is to go and play. Not sure what the plan is, but we're going to go do something fun.

I think that's about it for now. I'll write more again soon.

They Finally Got Hitched!

It has been some time in the making. Almost 2 years in fact. There was some going back and forth on the decision. I don't think it was so much that he didn't want it to happen, but the financing (among other things) was a concern. Last weekend LJ got hitched at last, and he (and more so Dave) couldn't be happier!

Actually, one of my best friends from high school, Rebecca got hitched today. She had something of a long engagement, but I'm so happy for her. She is the first of my friends to tie the knot since I got married - nearly 4 years ago! Congratulations!*

*Left the camera home, no wedding pictures to post.

P.S. Random side note - got to do a girls night yesterday; went to see "Letters to Juliet"; way cute!

Weather Report

In typical Utah spring fashion, we have gone from sunny 80's to snowy 30's or 40's. I haven't been able to make up my mind about whether I prefer the heat or the cold. Every time I think I figure it out, I don't, but this year I've been freezing regardless of the temperature. This isn't really anything new.

Last week it was in the 70's inside our house and I was cold, cold. Due to my immense refusal of high bill paying, I was not about to turn on the heater again. I was under a blanket and our cute little baby Jack came to the rescue. He crawled under the blanket and laid right on top of my hands to keep me warm. He was there for some time. Thanks Jack, Jack.

In other news, Porters have been a little under the weather. Both Dave and I have just not been feeling well. We've both got some upcoming tests to see what's up. I'll keep you posted. I don't think it's anything too serious for either of us. Here's hoping to warmer, brighter weather - seasonal and for Porters. :0)
